Elio Motors, the start-up vehicle manufacturer planning to launch a three-wheel vehicle that will get up to 84 mpg (2.8 l/100 km), is establishing a vehicle purchase base price of $7,300 for its non-refundable reservation holders until the company reaches 65,000 total reservations. in 2016 dollars.

Can-Am’s three-wheeled products turned out to be some of the best touring vehicles I’ve ever ridden sans air conditioning.

Reply to this comment by rossocorrecto April 7, 2009 6:23 AM PDT There are already efficient 2 wheeled transports that are available for purchase today at very reasonable prices. The Piaggio MP3 is a three wheeled maxi-scooter already being sold in the USA! Whats the big advantage to only 2 wheels?
