California ARB releases concept paper for public review on reducing short-lived climate pollutants

Short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) include methane, tropospheric ozone, black carbon, and fluorinated gases. The Concept Paper will be discussed at a 27 May public workshop. They are powerful climate forcers that remain in the atmosphere for a much shorter period of time than carbon dioxide.
