Kia Motors’ upgraded 2018 Kia Sportage ( earlier post ), the brand’s global best-selling vehicle, offers a 2.0-liter The MHSG is connected by belt to the engine’s crankshaft, and switches seamlessly between motor and generator modes. The MHSG seamlessly re-ignites the engine when the driver presses the throttle pedal.
