In future, cobalt will be sourced directly from mines in Australia and Morocco, and lithium from countries including Australia. The BMW Group has pooled its years of experience with battery cells and extensive knowledge in the field in a new Competence Center in Munich. The new Battery Cell Competence Center puts us in an enviable position.
