Marcelo da Luz and his Power of One (XOF1) solar car ( earlier post ) arrived in the hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, Canada after successfully traveling 187 km (116 miles) from the town of Inuvik over one of the longest seasonal ice roads in the world. The expedition took 9.5 hours from start to finish.

They recharge fully in 6 hours via a household electrical socket or in 30 minutes with a rapid charging terminal. This environmental strategy followed by the Marque also applies to its two- and three-wheeled vehicles. Its Li-ion batteries give it a range of 130 km. L/100 km (118 mpg US).

Among its trials of advanced or alternative fuel technology, the Postal Service is: Delivering mail on a trial basis using three-wheel (T3) electric vehicles in Florida, California and Arizona. The T3 is powered by two rechargeable batteries, has zero gas emissions and costs 4 cents a mile to operate.

The light vehicle has a total range of 300 kilometers (186 miles) and a top speed of 130 kilometers per hour (81 mph).
