BYD , for examples, says their 60 mile range-extended vehicle can add 30 miles of range in ten minutes. i think this is the best idea simply because of the ease of such a plan. I dont like the idea of leasing a battery pack, or project Better Places pay for however-so-many miles on a plan and whatnot. not an issue.
