The "Spirit" after a night of recharging at Motel 6 had these readings: 78.7MPG for 15 miles; 61.7 Tomorrow would be the run to Memphis on another Blue Highway -- Hwy 70, which lays within miles and parallels the busy, truck-laden and hi-speed Interstate 40 some 140 miles to Memphis. It was leisure travel! And at 55 MPG, too!
