Honda Motor has begun assembling and marketing the subcompact Fit Hybrid (Jass Hybrid) in Thailand. Thailand is now the second country outside of Japan (the US was first) in which Honda produces hybrids. The hybrid is assembled at Honda’s plant in Ayutthaya, using core components from Japan.
