Mercedes-Benz Cars will build a battery factory at the site in Jawor, Poland, and thus extend its global battery production network to nine factories. After the production of high-tech engines, we will establish additional future technology in Poland. This includes more than ten pure electric vehicles.

These batteries are manufactured at the Daimler plants in Kamenz (Germany) and Jawor (Poland). The new EQB (length/width/height: 4684/1834/1667 millimeters) is closely related to two models in particular: to the EQA, whose advanced drive technology it shares, and to the GLB compact SUV. kWh/100 km, range 419 km (260 miles).

It is suited for use in cells powering a range of electric vehicles, particularly those with fast-charging, high-performance and long-range requirements, such as larger premium passenger cars and premium SUVs.
