Utah Water Quality Board upholds issuance of permit for oil sands mine in Utah

The Utah Water Quality Board, in a 9-2 vote this week, agreed with the August 2012 recommendations of an administrative law judge (ALJ) upholding a permit-by-rule issued by the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) for the proposed PR Spring an oil sands mine on state land in eastern Utah. bp begins producing SAF by co-processing used cooking oil at Lingen refinery

This is the first industrial production facility in Germany to use this process for SAF production based on biomass waste and residues. In 2020, bp and Ørsted signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to work together to develop a project for industrial-scale production of green hydrogen at Lingen via the electrolysis of water using renewable power.

Tesla to begin Giga Berlin expansion in first half of 2024: report
