The city of Gdynia in Poland has signed a contract with Solaris for the delivery of 30 trolleybuses worth more than 95 million PLN (US$28 million) in total. Modernization of trolleybuses begins this spring, while the supply of the trolleybuses to Gdynia will begin in September this year and shall be completed by spring 2019.

The latest data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association ( ACEA ) shows that every powertrain endured a double-digit decline in the month. Only Poland was able to post an improvement, up 2.5%. Elsewhere, Poland (up 14.8%), Romania (up 8%), Portugal (up 2.5%), the Czech Republic (up 2.3%) and Denmark (up 1.5%) saw growth.
