Clean Energy signed a two-year contract with LA County Sanitation to dispense LA County’s locally generated RNG at its public station in Carson which uses an estimated 720,000 gallons of RNG. Tidewater Fibre in Virginia has extended its service contract renewal for 50 refuse trucks using an approximate 500,000 gallons per year.

The Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) was selected as the winner of the $1.3 High Temperature Superconductor Transmission Cable System for Installation in the Long Island Power Grid (LIPA 2) (Westborough, MA) - $7,584,120. University of Nevada – Las Vegas.

The program includes the installation of 10 alternative fuel refueling sites (two B20, one Electric Recharging, and seven CNG). The project will deploy 554 alternative fuel and hybrid electric vehicles and install 153 alternative fueling and electric vehicle charging stations throughout the Chicago region. Total DOE award: $15,000,000.
