Voyage, a startup in the autonomous taxi space, entered into a long-term strategic partnership with Renovo, a mobility technology company, to license Renovo’s AWare OS for use across its global fleet of automated vehicles. These deployments will feature Voyage’s custom automated driving system (ADS) running on Renovo’s AWare OS.

Waymo, the self-driving car unit of Google's parent company, Alphabet, put in an order for 62,000 Chrysler Pacifica Hybridminivans last week to put into test fleets around the country. Riders will be able to summon the vans as taxis and be whisked to their destination complete with a "driver" who isn't actually driving.

Chrysler used this for their EPIC Minivan and could charge at a rate of about one mile per minute. When GM installed chargers for the EV1 they used a 50amp 220V circuit that could pump over 6KW into the batteries. Some industrial sites are even set up with 440V 3 phase service. I have never been a big fan of battery swapping.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 could become Waymo’s next self-driving taxi , deploying a new generation of the Google spinoff’s Waymo Driver autonomous-driving system, Reuters reports. These have all been plug-in cars, including the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid plug-in hybridminivan and Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV.
