No, not the Toyota Starlet or Corolla Tercel , not the Honda CRX HF , not the Subaru Justy. The 1987 Sprint ER came in second place, due to its insatiable thirst for go-go juice on the highway (51 miles per gallon). The Sprint ER shouldn't be compared to modern hybrids or EVs, though.
