This made for an enjoyable experience on the highway, in a neighborhood, or on a service road. It does not appear as quickly developed and assembled as it was (Chevy said this was the fastest BEV brought to market aside from the Hummer). The 3LT FWD trim I drove starts at an MSRP of $45,295 before taxes and destination fees.

Alternatively, may we suggest the sound of the neighborhood ice cream truck? Until then, we can always program the ESS to make what Lotus refers to as "more futuristic sounds for electric vehicles [that] can be created using sampled sounds and generated waveforms." We always seem to hear that one coming from a mile away.

It might be in your neighborhood, but it's something that you will find along interstates or major travel routes. There are also, incidentally, income tax credits at the federal and state levels for installation of EV charging equipment. It doesn't cover the whole thing, but you do get a chunk of it back as a tax credit.

Although charging infrastructure is beginning to find its way into cities, it may be awhile until they are available in residential neighborhoods en masse. Of course, everything has its drawbacks and one problem with charging at home is that it is not an option available for some city dwellers.
