Alcoa and Phinergy enter joint development agreement for high energy-density aluminum-air batteries

US Hybrid awarded contract to deliver plug-in fuel cell shuttle bus to Hawaii County Mass Transit Agency

Integrated at US Hybrid’s Honolulu facility, the 25-passenger shuttle bus utilizes a 30 kW fuel cell fueled by a 20 kg hydrogen storage and delivery system. Onboard batteries are recharged by regenerative braking as well as grid charging.

NEC develops prototype 4.5V, long-life manganese Li-ion battery; 30% more energy density, high capacity and light weight
