Running on 91 octane, the EPA rates the ADX AWD at 25 mpg city/30 highway/27 combined. In 131 miles we averaged 32 mpg with pretty aggressive driving from sea level in Encinitas, California, at the Alila Marea Beach Resort to Santa Ysabel , at about 3,947 feet in the Laguna Mountains.

The EPA has rated the fuel economy at 21 mpg city/28 highway/24 combined. Cracking 30 mpg on the open road with a midsize AWD was a nice surprise, but it really shouldn’t be that big of deal as Clean Fleet Report feels all AWD cars, at a minimum, should get 30+ mpg on the highway. non-turbo, rated at 25/28/26 mpg.
