The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released its latest set of proposed standards to reduce emissions of methane and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the oil and natural gas industry. The gas and hydrocarbons can then be treated and used or sold, avoiding the waste of natural resources that cannot be renewed.
