When purchasing new batteries, the company installed 6V batteries into our 8V golf cart. We noticed it instantly as it would not charge on our charger.

The NYPD already uses electric scooters and electric powered golf carts on boardwalks, in parks and some transit hubs. The FDNY and NYPD initially will use the vehicles for non-emergency duties, including use by NYPD Traffic Enforcement Agents. The Chevrolet Volt is the first electric car being used by the NYPD.

We actually have a bunch of PairTrees being installed this summer. We have a system running for the Delaware National Guard—that’s a military installation. Our home city of Campbell has purchased one, and that’ll be installed in a few weeks. The city of Davis, California is putting two in.

The blue wire has two conductors in it and replaces the two dangling black wires that I originally installed. Here's the side of the transmission with the two-conductor cable installed on the backup-light switch. On a more dangerous note, I ordered my 18 USBatt 8-v golf-cart batteries from American Battery company in California.

After they were installed earlier this summer, the new chargers went live this month. According to the college, Hope students can purchase a special parking tag to gain unlimited access to the chargers for the entire school year. The applied-learning class project resulted in four new solar-powered EV chargers on the college campus.
