The new STLA Frame Platform will first underpin upcoming Jeep and Ram EV models. According to Stellantis, it aims to provide “best-in-class capabilities,” including up to 500 miles range. It will underpin all-electric (EV), range-extended (REEV), hybrid (HEV), ICE, and hydrogen-powered models.

Jeep unveiled its first global EV, the Wagoneer S , in May. The mid-size electric luxury SUV is “Distinctly a Jeep and 100% electric in every way,” CEO Antonio Filosa said. According to Jeep, it will be able to drive “over 300 miles” on a single charge.

The brands we are targeting are mainly Tesla… but there are many others,” Jeep’s leader said. Jeep officially unveiled the Wagoneer S luxury electric SUV two weeks ago with up to 300 miles range.
