Cummins fuel cell technology powers Coradia iLint fleet in Germany

Cummins is powering the world’s first fleet of hydrogen trains in Bremervörde, Lower Saxony, Germany. Cummins and Alstom successfully launched the very first hydrogen-powered Coradia iLint train in Germany in 2018. The first zero-emissions passenger trains in the 14-train fleet arrived in mid-summer.

Global hydrogen station deployments surpass 1,000; China leads

The number of hydrogen stations deployed globally has surpassed the 1,000-mark, according to a study by Information Trends. China represents roughly one-third of global deployments, but the US lags far behind with less than 100 hydrogen stations. Another four Asia-Pacific countries have also deployed hydrogen stations.

Audi introduces R33 Blue Gasoline for factory fills in Germany

Germany and Namibia form partnership for green hydrogen

Kandjoze of Namibia’s National Planning Commission agreed to establish a hydrogen partnership between Germany and Namibia and signed a Joint Communiqué of Intent (JCoI). The global race for the best hydrogen technologies and the best sites for hydrogen production is already on. This is almost twice as much as Germany has to offer.
