Polk: 35% of hybrid owners buying hybrids again

Maritz study finds growing but still low US consumer awareness about alternative fuel technologies; knowledge gap and confusion a sales challenge for OEMs

According to the Maritz Automotive Research Group, which conducted the research based on a telephone survey of 1,207 licensed American drivers 18 years of age or older, top of mind consumer awareness about the electric-only vehicle category outpaces gasoline-electric hybrids.
