The Fisker Karma plug-in extended range electric vehicle ( earlier post ) made its public driving debut over the weekend, 19 months after being introduced as a concept. The Fisker Karma can reach 60 mph (97 km/h) in six seconds and has a top speed of 125 mph (201 km/h).

Karma Automotive on Thursday unveiled the Amaris, a plug-in hybrid coupe the company says is due to start production in the fourth quarter of next year, and confirmed that it’s moving closer to a replacement for the Revero sedan. Like the Revero, the Amaris will use a gasoline engine as a generator.
