Chevrolet Volt owners have accumulated more than half a billion all-electric miles since the vehicle’s launch in 2010. Volt owners are doing more than 63% of their overall driving in EV mode. Volt owners who charge regularly typically drive more than 970 miles between fill-ups and visit the gas station less than once a month.

Volt drivers collectively log more than 100M all-electric miles since sales launch

Chevrolet announced that Volt owners collectively have driven more than 100 million all-electric miles since the vehicle went on sale two years ago this month. The average Volt owner travels more than 65% of the time in pure electric mode as the car was designed, only using the gasoline-powered generator for longer trips.

Next Generation Chevy Volt to debut at 2015 NAIAS

The next generation Chevrolet Volt will debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January, Global Chevrolet Chief Marketing Officer Tim Mahoney said today. Volt sales were up 13% in July to 2,020 units; more than 65,000 have been sold since it was introduced in 2010.
