Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama (TMMAL) held an event to mark the first of Toyota’s latest engine products for the all-new 2022 Tundra ( earlier post ) to come off the production line. The all-new 2022 Tundra goes on sale later this year. The standard i-FORCE 3.5L twin-turbo produces up to 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.

The Corolla Cross, launched in 2021 with a gasoline engine, will be joined in 2023 by the compact crossover Corolla Cross Hybrid, one more gasoline-electric hybrid offering from Toyota. 4-cylinder gasoline engine replacing the 1.8L Tundra SX Package. The Tundra is powered by one of two i-Force powertrains.
