Mercedes-Benz has collaborated with Telsa Motors to develop the electric B-Class.

The Sonata Plug-in Hybrid will be distributed in California, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont, but customers in any of the other states can custom order the vehicle at their local Hyundai dealer. The transmission uses an electric oil pump, which helps improve efficiency.

Most of the vehicles debuting at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show were powered by some sort of electricity. Not all were, of course, as there is still plenty of interest around gasoline-propelled cars, SUVs and trucks. Fiat stopped selling the Cinquecento, or 500e, in the United States (in reality California and Oregon only) in 2019.

Kia expects the pack to support a range of approximately 80-100 miles (129-161 km) of real-world driving on a full charge. kW, 109-hp electric motor, producing 210 lb-ft (285 N·m) of torque.
