The new Sharan, which is larger than its predecessor, will offer a choice of two direct injection TSI gasoline and two TDI diesel engines that are up to 21% more fuel-efficient than the comparable engines of the outgoing model. If you are one of those “I will never drive a minivan” type of persons, please keep reading. Oh, and could you get used to 32 miles of all-electric driving and 30+ mph when in hybrid mode? When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market.

The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric minivan has been coming to North America for a long, long time. That puts it squarely into the nascent segment of mass-market 3-row electric family utilities.
