Most of the vehicles debuting at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show were powered by some sort of electricity. Not all were, of course, as there is still plenty of interest around gasoline-propelled cars, SUVs and trucks. We expect it to be a blast to drive, and will review it when we have the chance to get behind the wheel.

If there was ever a car on the road fitting the bill as future, it is the 2024 Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). An alternative fuel Lexus with a Toyota badge For now, Californians have the opportunity to own a very nice electric car powered by compressed hydrogen gas. No plugging in to an electrical outlet.

It is rare when we post a review of a car that is only available in one of the 50 United States, but such is the case with the 2022 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV), which is only sold in California. Those lucky enough to live in California have the opportunity to own one of the nicest electric cars on the road.

GM has announced plans for public sales in 2010, and almost every carmaker now says it will sell PHEVs or highway-speed battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sometime after 2010. Shifted earlier focus to all-electric Focus in 2011 with Magna. Company says its focusing on gasoline and hydrogen. todays answer is "Yes -- but not yet."
