In a simultaneous—and video linked—unveil in New York, London and Beijing, BMW introduced the production version of its i3 battery-electric vehicle on Monday. With a renewable electricity mix, that increases to about 50%. The electric motor and transmission unit are located in direct proximity to the driven rear axle.
