Yet-to-find (YTF) resources will contribute to around 30% of the total production of natural gas worldwide by 2050, according to Yury Sentyurin, the Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF). Senturin made his remarks during the 25 th Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan Conference.

Nacero has licensed Topsoe TIGAS (Topsoe Improved Gasoline Synthesis) technology for its multi-billion USD natural-gas-to-gasoline facility in Penwell, Texas to produce 100,000 barrels per day of gasoline component ready for blending into US commercial grades. The captured CO 2 will be used for enhanced oil recovery.

Malaysia-based Petronas has signed a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with Uzbekistan’s national oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz (UNG) and Sasol Ltd of South Africa, making further progress on the development and implementation of a proposed Uzbek gas-to-liquids (GTL) project.
