The Continental Mobility Study 2020 shows that enthusiasm for electric cars is strong in China, while reservations still need to be overcome in Germany, France, the US and Japan. The study also shows that acceptance of electric mobility has increased in all five countries surveyed in recent years. Source: Continental.

Sandia National Laboratories’ Battery Abuse Testing Laboratory is undergoing a major renovation so Sandia researchers can test larger batteries for electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Those studies included 12 years of testing for the FreedomCAR program and the US Advanced Battery Consortium.

Interestingly enough, the Automotive Class is "into" the study of hybrids at this time. A plug and a pack can make a car a 101 MPG vehicle aided by electricity. ! While Denise was documenting the scene, EVJerr began his EVnthusiastic theme -- the spiel on "Kick Gas!" How perfect! And of course, now Plug-ins for extra credit!

In addition to providing the heat for system processes, the CHP generator will provide 7.5MW of green electricity. First, the industry is approaching the ethanol-to-gasoline blend wall of 10% ethanol, 90% gasoline in standard gas engines. There has been activity with biomass electrical power generation in the past several months.
