Moscow launches its 500th electric bus; largest electric bus fleet in Europe

Under the terms of contracts in 2018-2019, domestic manufacturers GAZ and KAMAZ supplied 300 electric buses to Moscow. Moscow’s electric fleet is thus the largest in Europe. The first electric buses took to the streets of the city in autumn 2018.

Operator Transdev has signed a contract with Solaris Bus & Coach to supply two hydrogen buses. Transdev signing the contract with Solaris for the supply of two hydrogen buses is a result of the region’s long-term transport strategy. The vehicles will roll out onto the streets of the Swedish city of Sandviken in autumn 2021.

Fleet of Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks pass 1M-kilometer mark in Switzerland

Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility’s fleet of XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks has collectively exceeded 1 million kilometers of driving in 11 months of service in Switzerland. During that time, the fleet has reduced CO 2 emissions by more than an estimated 630 tons, compared to diesel-powered vehicles.

Honda to supply 50 Honda e EVs, 35 Power Managers to V2X Suisse for large-scale V2G trial

Honda will supply 50 Honda e electric vehicles ( earlier post ) to Switzerland’s car-sharing operator, Mobility. The Honda e units will be used as part of a car-sharing fleet in a trial which uses the Honda e’s bi-directional charging function to feed energy back to the grid when the vehicles are not in use for sharing.
