The announcement was made during the Clinton Global Initiative ’s (CGI) fifth annual meeting in New York City. Duke Energy and FPL Group will begin this transition in the coming years with the goal that 100% of all new fleet vehicles will be plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) by 2020.
