Capitol Hill made for a strange sight earlier this week as it was surrounded by everything from two-seat sports cars to vehicles that resembled golf carts and bucket trucks. One of the most impressive vehicles on display was the ZENN - which stands for Zero Emission No Noise.

Then some of the early golf-cart-esque electric LSVs that sold in California during the mid-to-late 2000s began showing up in the Pick-n-Pulls of the Golden State. I spotted a pair of France-built ZENN Electrics in 2017. Two years ago, I spotted this discarded first-gen Toyota RAV4 EV near John Steinbeck's birthplace.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance is building fleet charging stations in Portland and Phoenix. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. We have those…they are readily available in our own domestic fleet. Electric cars a still a joke. aren’t there yet.
