Unveiled at the ACT Expo in Long Beach, Calif., The extended range (ER) version of the 8TT and 6F offer a range of up to 200 miles on a charge. BYD unveiled two battery-electric heavy-duty trucks, the Gen3 8TT and 6F. The stylish cabs offer improved aerodynamics and energy efficiency.

A drivable prototype of the W-15 will be unveiled at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Long Beach, California, on May 2. Designed specifically to meet the needs of commercial fleets, the W-15 is believed to be the first plug-in, range-extended pickup truck built from the ground up by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Tropos Motors has released the new eXtended Range, ABLE XR low-speed electric utility vehicle. With the largest capacity battery pack of LSVs on the market, the ABLE XR can travel up to 45+ mph (72+ km/h), and up to 160 miles (at 25 mph), as well as tow a max of 2000 pounds on public roads, or 3000 pounds on closed campuses.

Vision designed the Tyrano to replace short haul diesel trucks operating in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Vision’s proprietary hydrogen fuel cell/plug-in electric drive system combines the superior acceleration of a battery powered electric vehicle with the extended range provided by a hydrogen fuel cell.

This marks Audi’s first foray into the rapidly developing US electric vehicle landscape. The Audi A3 e-tron can be recharged in about nine hours with a 230-volt household socket.
