787 Dreamliner sets speed and distance records for its weight class; 20% more fuel efficient

The airplane is 20% more fuel efficient than similarly sized airplanes. On the second segment, the Dreamliner flew over Singapore, the Philippines and Guam before entering US airspace over Honolulu and returning to Seattle. The 777-200 also holds the speed record for its weight class.
