The new company will focus on four core brands in the USA - Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC and will feature fewer nameplates. GM also wants to improve the fuel efficiency of its vehicle fleet and will launch the Chevrolet Volt extended range vehicle in 2010.

All we really need in addition to fleets of new paradigm vehicles are additional solar and wind generation sources. High-volume manufacturing of long electric range PHEVs is a good start. In fact, use of these fuels is required by law in many states of the USA. Already the Chevrolet Volt is moving us in that direction.

Shifted earlier focus to all-electric Focus in 2011 with Magna. Plans Cadillac Converj, Opel Ampera, other versions. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10.
