Alstom to supply Italy’s first hydrogen trains

Alstom will supply six hydrogen fuel cell trains, with the option for eight more, to FNM (Ferrovie Nord Milano), the main transport and mobility group in the Italian region of Lombardy, for a total amount of approximately €160 million. This zero-emission train emits low levels of noise, with exhaust being only steam and condensed water.

Rolls-Royce supplying two mtu gas engines for first LNG-hybrid tugboat

Rolls-Royce is supplying two mtu 16V 4000 M55RN gas engines to Sembcorp Marine Integrated Yard for the construction of the first liquefied natural gas (LNG)-hybrid powered tug. Without exhaust gas aftertreatment, they emit no sulfur oxides and only very small quantities of nitrogen oxide, and particulate mass is below the verification limit.

Rheinmetall wins new order worth around €300M for exhaust gas recirculation modules
