Karma on Friday unveiled the Ivara concept at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, one of the premier events of 2024 Monterey Car Week that ran last week in California. Joining it on Karma’s stand were the previously revealed Kaveya sports car and Gyesera sport sedan.

This year’s event, August 9-18, entertained and wowed attendees with several world new car debuts, but also classics, including a stunning 1934 Bugatti Type 59 Sports that came all the way from Zug, Switzerland, to take the overall honors (our featured image). Karma estimates the all-electric range at 250+ miles, which may be conservative.

The 500e remains one of our favorite city cars as it manages to carry through the Italian charm and personality found in the company’s gas models. Coda Automotive , with its warmed-over Chinese sedan, has departed, but Fisker (now Karma) Automotive has revived its high-end plug-in hybrid under new Chinese ownership.
