I have stated the same before. If they force noice makers on Hybrids and EVs, this will be yet another break down in common sense.
Since most families have at least two cars now, I foresee an electric commuter car and an ICE road trip car (you know, an Escalade or Dodge Ram crew cab ;o) in the future. Lastly, hybrids & plug-in hybrids are an unfortunate diversion. Hybrids are just car makers attempt to hang onto ICE & also sell expensive high margin vehicles.
Gravity has been a long time coming, as we first caught wind of the SUV in 2020 during the premiere of the Air sedan when Lucid briefly teased it. Not different from CEO Peter Rawlinson’s mention yesterday of a “mid-size” Tesla Model 3 and Model Y competitor in the works as Lucid’s third model. That car is four feet longer than this thing.
