Aqua Metals has pioneered a new electro-hydrometallurgy process that uses renewable electricity and recycles the chemicals used. The company is building a new plant in Nevada, and aims to be processing 10,000 tons of black mass (equivalent to about 150,000 EV battery packs) annually by 2025. They need to contain them.
