In September 2016, Kapil Shelke’s Tork Motors unveiled its first product, claiming to be India’s first electric motorcycle. The company’s first electric motorcycle, the TX6, is expected to hit the market soon. After the partial lockdown was lifted, the company sold over 1,000 electric scooters.
