Other speakers have included an HEAA member who builds electric motorcycles, another who has converted gas lawn mowers into electric, and a third who is proud to move around his property while sitting in his converted electric La-Z-Boy. And we also planned to feature a Tesla because the show already had a LEAF.

In another part of the factory I saw the standing electric scooters undergoing similar processes, with an assembly line conveying the scooters along as workers assembling them ahead of extensive rider inspections and test rides. I started with a lifted electric golf cart built for a US-based company (though I had to cover the brands logos).

But hey, did you buy your suitcase to carry things, or did you buy it to race old folks on those Terminal 3 golf cart shuttles? You might scoff, but my LiveWire electric motorcycle doesnt even have reverse. I cant imagine this does any favors to the storage space available inside of the suitcase.

The sister show to Micromobility Europe , this year’s North American conference moved to Southern California, bringing to Costa Mesa an array of just about every type of micromobility device you could imagine, from e-bikes, e-scooters and fully-fledged electric motorcycles to four-wheeled neighborhood electric vehicles.

You’ll see solar cars, golf carts, wind energy providers, local dealerships and Harley’s Livewire electric motorcycle, among others. Over 100 vehicles and 41 models are registered for the EV display, which means this might be the biggest event in the country (here’s a video from last year’s event ).
