Other speakers have included an HEAA member who builds electricmotorcycles, another who has converted gas lawn mowers into electric, and a third who is proud to move around his property while sitting in his converted electric La-Z-Boy. And we also planned to feature a Tesla because the show already had a LEAF.
“It’s basically just a souped-up golfcart, but Ford wouldn’t allow them to import it into the US. I’m able to import it as a 1908 Waverley Electric touring sedan. Taking delivery of the first prototype was the culmination of my April Fool’s joke.” A longtime association Steiner has been involved with EVs for well over a decade.
In another part of the factory I saw the standing electric scooters undergoing similar processes, with an assembly line conveying the scooters along as workers assembling them ahead of extensive rider inspections and test rides. I started with a lifted electricgolfcart built for a US-based company (though I had to cover the brands logos).
But hey, did you buy your suitcase to carry things, or did you buy it to race old folks on those Terminal 3 golfcart shuttles? You might scoff, but my LiveWire electricmotorcycle doesnt even have reverse. I cant imagine this does any favors to the storage space available inside of the suitcase.

Russians have begun testing a locally-made electricmotorcycle for combat use in their war against Ukraine. The electricmotorcycles, built by Kalashnikov Group (yes… that Kalashnikov ), are now being sent “to border areas for testing in highly complex conditions,” according to the company.
For example, its golfcart-mounted soldiers fared poorly when attempting to storm Ukrainian positions earlier this year, though the country has also begun testing electricmotorcycles for wartime use. For its part, Russia has also employed non-conventional vehicles, though to much lesser effect.
