The battery-switchable fully-electric Holden Commodore developed by. EV Engineering in Australia ( earlier post ) recently unofficially broke the distance record for a production electric car, achieving 1,886 (1,172 miles) kilometers of driving over a 24-hour period. We were able to just drive, switch, and keep going.

Further proof, if it were needed, that green cars are a truly global phenomenon, came when engineers in Bucaramanga presented Columbia’s first electric car to a proud audience last weekend. It can also run for 70km before needing to be recharged.
