The EPA fuel economy numbers of 21 mpg city/26 highway/23 combined are almost exactly what we got covering 301 miles driving through Southern California. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the next generation RDX is a hybrid or plug-in hybrid to get that fuel economy into the mid-30 miles per gallon range.

The EPA has rated the GV80’s fuel economy at 21 mpg city/25 highway/23 combined. It wasn’t easy, but cracking 30 mpg on the open road was a nice surprise in this size of car. Fuel economy numbers reported by Clean Fleet Report are non-scientific and represent the reviewer’s driving experience using the dash gauge computer.

That number jumps to 105 MPGe, or miles per gallon equivalent, when combining electricity and gasoline. With a plug-in option the Escape can drive all-electric (for more than 40 miles we found).
