Hyundai Motor Group will pilot a RoboRide car-hailing service in Gangnam in Seoul, South Korea, utilizing IONIQ 5 battery-electric vehicles (BEV) with in-house developed level 4 autonomous driving technology. The pilot RoboRide will be the first car-hailing service with autonomous driving vehicles to operate in Gangnam, one of the most congested areas in metropolitan Seoul.

With production due to end in South Korea in July, hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of the Hyundai Ioniq hatchback will soon be discontinued, Hyundai Motor Company confirmed on Monday. In the U.S., the Hyundai Ioniq Electric was discontinued after the 2021 model year. While the hybrid and plug-in hybrid remained available for the 2022 model.

Chevrolet, which resumed production of the Bolt electric vehicles in April, has announced that the upcoming 2023 Bolt models will be priced significantly lower than their predecessors. ZeroAvia has signed an agreement with MONTE Aircraft Leasing (MONTE), the pioneering zero-emissions regional turboprop aircraft lessor. As part of the agreement the partners will offer aircraft leasing and financing solutions that enable operators to run zero-emission flights. Under the deal, MONTE will purchase up to 100 ZA600 powertrains to be installed on existing and new Cessna Caravan, DHC-6 Twin Otter, Dornier 228 and HAL-228 aircraft.
