The 2024 GMC Sierra EV full-size electric pickup truck is already being recalled because other road users might not be able to see its turn signals. General Motors is recalling 1,962 of the trucks because the front signal lights and parking lights may be too similar in their levels of brightness, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety.

Tesla Megafactory Shanghai is on track to start shipments by Q1 2025. Last month, local media outlet IT Home reported that Tesla’s Megafactory in Shanghai was already 60% complete , passing the halfway point. Tesla China officially started construction on the Shanghai Megafactory on May 23, 2024. Tesla has reportedly expanded its land presence in New York City by leasing a 150,000-square-foot lot in College Point, Queens. The automaker has signed a deal with Triangle Equities at 30-02 Whitestone Expressway, which was previously a shopping center that has seen its tenancy dwindle over the past couple of years. Part of the agreement between Ford and the South Korean battery supplier includes moving LGES’ battery production for the Mustang Mach-E from Europe to the United States.
