Tesla CEO Elon Musk gave new updates on the company’s Humanoid Robot project, known as Optimus, yesterday, stating the company will have low production for internal use in 2025 and “hopefully” higher production in 2026 for other companies. The Optimus humanoid robot is one of Tesla’s newest projects, unveiled just three years ago at the company’s Artificial Intelligence Day.

It appears that Tesla is growing its footprint in Austin, Texas even further, with the electric vehicle maker reportedly leasing a 183,000-square-foot rail-served building in the RCR Taylor Logistics Park in Taylor, Texas. As per the Austin Business Journal , the addition of the Taylor building will result in Tesla having over 1 million square feet of combined property in Kyle, Hutto, and Taylor.

The reveal of the newest Corvette ZR1 has me wondering -- is 1,000 horsepower too much? The "moar power" part of me thinks nah, not at all. But on the other hand, very little of the car's horsepower, or its more than 800 lb-ft of torque, is very useful on the street. Speed limits and safety mean that any moneyed enthused who buys this car will have to save its full capabilities for the track.
