In what continues to feel like the ultimate tool hack, I’ve been running my electric tractor completely off-grid. With this setup, I’ve created an entirely off-grid system where my electric tractor is always powered by solar energy. For example, we just got an electric chainsaw and now I can run that off-grid as well.

Between my electric bikes, e-motorcycles, e-ATVs, electric tractors, and a few other things I’m probably forgetting, having a weather-sealed, solar-powered off-grid charging shed would be a big benefit. Well, not really cheated, but I just went with a retail solar generator system instead of DIYing that part myself from à la carte components.

Third-party and DIY converters can't muck with every system on a car. Yet the hard cold reality is that unless we begin to move to grid electricity for most driving, none of the the other fuels will ever stand a chance of contributing to the end of the petroleum era. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to offer solutions.

The way a Braille cell works is there’s as many as six dots arranged on a two-by-three grid. It’s got anywhere between like 14 and 80 cells. So, I guess I need to explain what a cell is. Depending on the permutation of those dots, that’s what the letter is. So, if it’s just a single dot in the upper left space , that’s the letter a.

Once weve consolidated everything to depend on the grid, we can clean up everything by cleaning up the grid. Once electric cars are more common, demand for electricity will rise, and electricity producers will have to look at big generators such as dams, nuclear stations or decentralised wind turbines that feed in to the grid.
