General Motors will build its new generation midsize diesel engine family at the GM Manufacturing Poland plant in Tychy. liter four-cylinder diesel engine is scheduled for 2017. Engines will be installed in a wide range of Opel/Vauxhall models. The GM Manufacturing Poland plants in Gliwice and Tychy employ 3,500 people.
